Personal Information
One of chuckwagon racing's top young drivers, Jordie will be making his third trip to the Calgary Stampede GMC Rangeland Derby in just four years of racing on the WPCA Pro Tour. 2013 saw Jordie post 6 top ten runs, with a fifth place run and an eighth place overall finish at the Saskatoon World Chuckwagon Races being his best of the year. Jordie's his best season to date was in 2012 when he placed 11th overall in the World Standings. He won the 2010 WPCA Top Rookie Driver Award and became just the fourth driver in WPCA history to qualify for the Calgary Stampede Rangeland Derby in his rookie year. He drove the demonstration race at the 2012 Calgary Stampede GMC Rangeland Derby and was runner-up for the 2012 Strathmore Heritage Days Stampede. He won his first WPCA day money on night 2 of the 2010 Battle of the North which put him into first place overall at the midpoint of the show. Jordie spent his first two years as a driver on the CPCA circuit where he won the Saskatoon Exhibition Derby and the CPCA Most Improved Driver award in 2009, and received the CPCA’s Most Sportsmanlike Driver award in 2008. Jordie is a 4th generation wagon man whose great-grandfather Wilbur David started the family tradition in the late 1950’s and his grandfather is chuckwagon legend Ron David. Jordie is the older brother to 2012 World Champion Outrider Chad Fike, and played 2 full seasons with the Portland Winter Hawks of the Western Hockey League. Jordie  and his wife Tamara make their home in High River, Alberta.
