Grant won the Ralph Vigen Memorial Award for the top aggregate time at the Grande Prairie Stompede in 2009 and holds the track record at the Richard Cosgrave Memorial Badlands Dinosaur Derby. Originally from The Pas, Manitoba, Grant drove pony wagons for many years before moving up to the thoroughbred chuckwagons.
