Personal Information 
A classy driver with one of the most impressive on-track resumes combined with off-track credentials, 2013 saw Rick win three show championships at the Grande Prairie Stompede, the Medicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede and the Battle of the North en route to capturing his second career World Chuckwagon Championship. He posted an amazing 31 top ten runs which included 7 first place runs and 18 runs that placed inside the top five. He won the GMC Sierra Cup Series and competed in five winner-take-all championship final heats at Grande Prairie, Medicine Hat, Calgary Stampede, Dawson Creek and the Battle of the Rockies, had one horse named to the Calgary Stampede’s Equine Outfit of Excellence for the second consecutive year and a horse named to the WPCA’s Equine Outfit of Excellence for the fourth consecutive year. Rick was the recipient the Calgary Stampede's prestigious Guy Weadick Award in 2005, the Calgary Stampede's Orville Strandquist Award for top rookie driver in 1999, and has qualified for the GMC Rangeland Derby winner–take–all final four times. Rick has won 18 major show titles in 20 years of competing on the WPCA Pro Tour giving him one of the highest ratio of wins to years competed of all professional chuckwagon drivers. He outrode for 6 Calgary Stampede GMC Rangeland Derby Championship outfits and 4 Calgary Stampede Aggregate Winners, received the WPCA Showmanship Award for professionalism in 2001 and was the WPCA's Top Rookie Driver in 1982. Rick is a third generation chuckwagon driver whose grandfather was the legendary Tom Dorchester and stepfather was former World and three-time Calgary Stampede champion Dave Lewis. A very devoted family man, Rick and his wife Sue have three children - Amy, Kaylee and Cody and one grandchild. In the off-season Rick owns and operates Rick Fraser Vacuum Truck Service.
